Coffee Morning — Privacy Policy

Coffee Morning is a coffee-ordering app for our family and church coffee bar.
This policy explains what information the app handles and why. We keep data
collection to the minimum needed to take and deliver your order.
Information We Collect
- Name — captured through Sign in with Apple so the
baristas know whose order to make and where to deliver it.
- Email — provided by Sign in with Apple (which may be a
private relay address) to identify your account.
- Order details — the drinks you order, options, and
delivery seat/location, shared with the baristas on duty.
- Payment information — when you choose to pay in-app,
payments are processed by Stripe using Apple Pay. We do
not see or store your full card number; Stripe handles card data under
its own privacy policy.
- Device push token — if you allow notifications, a token
is stored so we can send order-status updates to your device.
How We Use It
- To take, prepare, and deliver your coffee order.
- To show baristas the order queue and who to hand each drink to.
- To send you notifications about your order status (if enabled).
- To process payments you choose to make in the app.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Information is shared only with:
the baristas and staff using the app to fulfill orders, and
Stripe and Apple as needed to provide
sign-in, payments, and push notifications. Order and account data is stored on
our hosting provider (Vercel).
Data Retention
Order history and account information are kept while you use the app so
baristas can see regulars and recent orders. You can request deletion of your
account and associated data at any time (see Contact below).
Children
The app is intended for our family and church community. It does not target
children under 13 or knowingly collect their personal data beyond a name used
to deliver a drink.
Your Choices
- You can turn off notifications in your device Settings.
- You can use Sign in with Apple's private email relay to hide your real
email.
- You can request that we delete your account and data.
